Design of J2EE applications and technical HW/SW infrastructures modules.

This position involves both client-facing activities as a experienced technical consultant and the participation to internal software development projects. The role includes fully documented high level system designs (blue-prints) and set-up of technical HW/SW infrastructures.

This position may also involve supervision of a small team.

Web architect with 1-2 year commercial work experience in software design. Some experience with code development (web or client/server systems also required).

* Experience: 1-2 years commercial work experience in software design and web developments.

* Competencies/ knowledge: Firm command of CGI, ASP, JSP, Java Servlets or other web application architecture. Familiarity with database connectivity techniques such as ODBC, OLEDB, ADO, JDBC, applied to Oracle8i and/or MS SQL Server database management systems.

* Knowledge of XML/XSL(T) will be helpful.

* Other competencies: communications skills and business level of English, technical specifications writing, analytic thinker and strategist, flexibility and positive attitude.
